To My Secret Santa

(I hope you won't mind I post it in my LJ instead of my DA journal. I don't write entries in my DA journal except for my chibi shop.xDD)

If I could wish for anything in the world, I would wish for world peace (who doesn't want that?) but for now, I would like to wish for either of the following.
  1. an art of my OC: color reference & chibi lineart
  2. a GaiaOnline avatar art: reference (you have artistic freedom)
  3. Howl & Sophie fanart (from Howl's Moving Castle)
Either of the 3 would be lovely. It could be anything especially chibi. Do enjoy drawing any of them.

Thank you much in advance and have a merry Christmas soon~

Nanatsuiro Drops

It is the most romantic anime I've ever seen so far. It's a shojo anime I guess since it doesn't have bloody stuff except for ultimate mushiness and bizarre plot. Here's the plot and setting from Wikipedia:

"Masaharu Tsuwabuki is a normal student, though not very social. One day he meets a new student named Sumomo Akihime, and another girl named Yaeno Nadeshiko, Sumomo's close friend. That same afternoon, he suddenly bumps into Arthur, a servant of Nona Yuki from Figurare who at the time was disguised with a mask. The collision causes Arthur to drop a bag full of magical potions; amid gathering up the scattered cans, one of them is accidentally switched with Masaharu's soda can. Upon drinking it, he transforms into a stuffed animal lamb at night. He must collect seven stardrops, in order to return to normal.

There are two primary worlds within the story of Nanatsuiro Drops: the human world called Retroscena, and a magical world called Figurare from which the Stellar Spinners originate. There are currently two schools that teach magic within Figurare: Pramu Cloris and Saint Asparas. According to Natsume, each year the two schools pick their top Stellar Spinners (the one from Pramu Cloris is called Prima Pramu, and from Saint Asparas is called Prima Asparas) to send to the human world to capture seven stardrops in a goodwill competition to improve relations."

If you're one who's into magical school girls and romance, this is the anime for you. ^.~

Reach Out for Summer

Ahh~ Summer time! I can almost feel it. Oh wait! I can feel the heat already. Just a few more days and it will be official. Anyway, I hope to have a good time this summer before I start working. I'm already graduating on March 30 which means I won't have a full two months summer vacation anymore the next time around after this. So, I want to enjoy this summer as much as I can.

My friend and I have plans to go to Manila on April 20-25. I am already decided but my mom disapproves of the idea. Still, I'll persist so she will eventually permit me to go. I want to go there because it will be my first time having a vacation with two of my best friends. It will be a blast, I'm sure. (Except for the excessive pollution there. Oh well..) Even so, I still can't imagine a week away from my home without my family and with only limited resources. I wonder if I'll survive.. bah! I have my friends with me. I guess I'll be fine.

Hmm.. it will be wise to look for clients to commission me for website layouts and such. I need to fund my little "expedition" to Manila if I want to survive. I just hope that there will be someone who I know who is in need of a website layout and is willing to pay me a good amount of money. I hope he/she is not picky as well so I can be very creative with what I have. I hope and pray to God that He'll give me good clients.

Summer~  ♥

Life Updates and Kamichama Karin

Currently, Kamichama Karin fascinates me. I first saw it in Amazon.com when I was browsing through some manga I might be interested in. I always get attracted to cute things so when I saw Kamichama Karin (it had 5 stars and nice reviews) I viewed it and found it interesting. I also saw Kamichama Karin Chu to be released by DelRey Manga on June 2008 so I pre-ordered volume 1.

After a few days, I decided to check out my CrunchyRoll account then I also tried to search an anime titled Gakuen Alice. I didn't find it as interesting as it is to some people so I tried searching for another anime. Then, I decided to search for Kamichama Karin. And there they were! So I watched the first episode then I got hooked. I also watched the last episode when I found out it only had 26 episodes. It was interesting as well. The next day I decided to watch all 26 episodes and collect Kamichama Karin Chu manga.

Last Saturday (February 23, 2008) we had our CIS Night. But in the earlier time of the day we had our Humanities Day at Forest Park. Even though there were a lot of people there I still felt relaxed in that place. I was actually drawing the whole time I was there. I joined the On-the-Spot Drawing Contest. I wasn't able to finish my drawing though. (Pics are in my friendster account.) We left early so we could prepare for our CIS Night.

CIS Night was alright. Although I admit that sometimes I couldn't feel I was actually in that event, it was enjoyable. Especially when the program was already done and we taking pictures with teachers and friends. I also received a special award, a framed certificate, for Academic Achievement Award. My friend Rose sang From This Moment On which she sang beautifully. After the picture taking I went home because I wasn't sure if my classmates were going out somewhere else to continue the party which they did.

I sort of regretted not going with them but I'm also glad I didn't go with them because the next day, I met with my best friends and we had fun. We went out to eat then we went to the arcades and had karaoke and a few arcade games. We were also able to be our freaky selves all over the places we went to. Mwehe.
